  • Specific Requirements: Theme, style reference images, character details (including clothing/props/expression), image ratio (avatar / half-body / full-body / scene)
  • Technical Parameters: Dimensions (e.g., 1200px+), resolution (300dpi by default; specify for printing), color mode (RGB/CMYK)
  • Special Instructions: Perspective (front / side / multi-angle), background complexity, requirements for special effects/text/gradients, etc.
  • Reference Materials: Recommended to be compiled into a long image or document to avoid omissions from scattered descriptions

Surcharge Rules

Surcharges apply in the following cases:

  • Complex character design (e.g., FF14 or other special characters): +RMB 200-500 or 10%-20% of the original price
  • Additional scenes/multi-characters: +50%-80% per additional character; 30%-100% surcharge for complex scenes
  • Custom design (original creation without references): Base price × 1.5
  • Cross-platform synchronous communication (requiring multi-channel coordination): +10% service fee

  • Non-Profit Group Orders: Non-commercial price × 1.2~1.5
  • Confidentiality Fee: +50% of the base price for permanent non-disclosure of the work
  • Rush Fee:

Payment Process

  • Deposit: 30%-50% of the total amount (payable upon order placement to reserve the schedule)
  • Balance Payment: Payable within 24 hours after final approval; high-resolution watermark-free images/source files will be delivered upon payment completion
  • Payment Methods: WeChat Pay / Alipay / Bank Transfer / PayPal

Note: Creation will not start without deposit payment; deposits are non-refundable once the artist has commenced work.

III. Creation Process and Revision Rules

Revision Rules (Free Revisions + Fee Standards)

  • Free Revisions: 3 free revisions included in the basic package (1 for composition + 1 for refined sketch + 1 for coloring), limited to detail adjustments within the same stage
  • Fee-Based Revisions:
    • Exceeding free revision limit: 10%-20% of the base price per additional revision
    • Cross-stage revisions (e.g., changing composition after coloring): 50% of the stage’s creation fee
    • Additional requirements (e.g., adding characters/changing scenes): Priced separately based on the new content

Note: Revisions must be requested clearly and completely at one time; scattered multiple revisions will be charged cumulatively.

IV. Copyright Ownership and Usage Specifications

Default Authorization (Non-Outright Purchase)

  • Client Rights: Limited to the agreed purpose; no commercial profit, sub-licensing, or secondary modification allowed
  • Artist Rights: Retains the right of attribution; may use the watermarked work for portfolio display and promotion (unless the client explicitly prohibits display in advance)
  • Prohibited Acts: The client shall not remove watermarks, modify work elements, or use the work for commercial activities (e.g., selling peripherals, advertising) without authorization

Outright Purchase Authorization (Subject to Separate Agreement)

  • Non-Commercial Outright Purchase: Client obtains unlimited personal usage rights; the artist retains the right of attribution and display rights (must be marked as “Authorized”)
  • Commercial Outright Purchase: Client obtains full copyright property rights (including modification, sub-licensing, and commercial profit); the artist only retains the right of attribution, and a written authorization agreement is required

Supplement: For character design outright purchases, the client must notify the artist in advance if transferring the character; the transfer price shall not exceed the original commission total + subsequent creation costs.

Copyright Liability

  • The artist guarantees the work is original and does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights; the artist shall bear full liability for any infringement disputes
  • The client must ensure reference materials and character information are legal and compliant; the artist is not liable for disputes arising from infringing materials provided by the client
  • Commercial orders require the client to provide legal authorization documents (e.g., brand authorization, character usage rights certificates)

V. Delivery Standards and After-Sales Service

  • Basic Delivery: High-resolution watermark-free JPG/PNG images (resolution ≥300dpi), transparent background file (if required)
  • Outright Purchase Delivery: Additional PSD/SAI source files (unmerged layers) and material authorization instructions
  • File Naming Convention: Project Name_Work Type_Version_Date (e.g., OC Commission_Full-Body Standing Illustration_V1.0_20250101)
  • Delivery Methods: Instant messaging software, cloud storage link (valid for 7 days), email (files ≤200MB)

After-Sales Guarantee

  • Acceptance Period: The client must raise objections within 24 hours of receiving the final product; failure to do so will be deemed acceptance
  • Minor Adjustments: One free minor adjustment (e.g., color tweaks, detail revisions) is allowed within 24 hours of acceptance; major revisions are not supported
  • File Reissue: Free file reissue within 30 days of delivery; a small service fee applies after the period

VI. Liability for Breach and Dispute Resolution

Client Breach of Contract

  • Order Cancellation Mid-Process: Deposit is non-refundable; the artist has the right to dispose of the completed work
  • Late Payment: 1% late payment fee of the unpaid amount per day; failure to pay for more than 7 days is deemed a breach of contract
  • Unauthorized Usage: Unauthorized commercial use or infringing use requires the client to pay 3-5 times the original total price as liquidated damages and bear legal liability

Artist Breach of Contract

  • Late Delivery: 1% reduction of the base price per day; the client may request a deposit refund if delivery is delayed by more than 7 days
  • Work Quality Issues: Failure to meet agreed requirements and refusal to revise requires the artist to refund the deposit and delete all work files
  • Disclosure of Confidential Information: The artist must pay 50% of the base price as liquidated damages and bear corresponding losses

Dispute Resolution

  • Priority shall be given to friendly negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, legal proceedings may be initiated at the people’s court where the artist is located (or an agreed arbitration institution)

VII. Other Supplementary Terms

  • Unspecified Matters: Supplementary agreements may be signed, which shall have the same legal effect as these terms
  • Prohibition of Order Transfer: The client shall not sub-contract the commission to a third party; the artist will only communicate with the original client
  • Live Streaming of Creation: Creation process may be live-streamed by default; the client must specify in advance if live streaming is prohibited
  • Commissions by Minors: Requires guardian consent and payment on their behalf; otherwise, the artist has the right to terminate the commission
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or platform failures
